Before joining the Spice Girls, Melanie C was persuing a career in the entertainment industry. Between 1996 & 1998 as part of the Spice Girls, Melanie C did some individual interviews and appearances including The Wannabe EPK, The Big Breakfast, Girls Talk! and more. Melanie C also branched out on her own with her first solo single - a duet with Bryan Adams "When You're Gone" which she promoted in the UK in 1998. 1999 - MELANIE C

In 1999 Melanie C finished off promotion of "When You're Gone" with performances on TFI Friday, and performed in Germany on Wetten Dass & Bravo Super Show. After appearing at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Melanie kicked of promotion of her first solo album "Northern Star by doing a world promo tour visiting The USA, Canada, Australia, Italy, Spain, Sweden and more. She also performed her first two solo singles "Goin' Down" and "Northern Star" in the UK [TOTP, Live & Kicking, CD:UK..] and also performed in the USA on Letterman. 2000 - MELANIE C

In 2000, Melanie C continued promotion of "Northern Star" with apperances on UK shows such as The Priory, Top Of The Pops, CD:UK, Live & Kicking, Blue Peter, The Pepsi Chart and more. International promotion included performances in Belgium, Denmark [Danish Grammy Awards], Germany [Bravo Super Show], Netherlands, Sweden, Italy [Domenica In], France [Hit Machine] and more. In 2000, Melanie also presented at the American Music Awards, performed at Party In The Park, hosted MTV Select, performed on Live! With Regis & Festivalbar in Italy. 2001 - 2002 - MELANIE C
A look at Melanie C's 2001 - 2002 TV Appearances.

In 2001, Melanie was winding down promotion on "Northern Star". She performed on "The Bingo Lotto Show" [Sweden], The Echo Awards [Germany], "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" [USA], took to the stage with Russell Watson, did some promotion in Sweden and more before largely retreating from the spotlight for 18 months. In 2002 after a year out of the spotlight, Melanie presented at the MTV Europe Music Awards and also show the video for her single "Here It Comes Again." 2003 - 2004 - MELANIE C

In 2003, Melanie C released her album "Reason" and did promotion for it's singles "Here It Comes Again", "On The Horizon" and "Melt/Yeh Yeh Yeh" with performances on CD:UK, Top Of The Pops, T4, The Saturday Show, GMTV and more. International promotion icludeded performances in Italy [Festivalbar, MTV Gig], Finland, Sweden, Spain [Con T De Tarde] and more. Also in 2003, Melanie C participated in UK Reality show"The Games". 2005 - MELANIE C

In 2005 Melanie C released her album "Beautiful Intentions" and promoted the singles "Next Best Superstar" and "Better Alone" in the UK performing on shows such as CD:UK, This Morning, Top Of The Pops, GMTV, Ant & Dec and loads more. International promotion included performances in Germany [Wetten Dass], Italy [Festivalbar] and more. Melanie also visited Australia in 2005 and did interviews on Rove [Live], Today and more. Later in 2005 Melanie C released her single "First Day Of My Life" in Germany and promoted it with appearances on Wetten Dass, TOTP Germany, The Dome and more. 2006 - 2007 - MELANIE C

In 2006 Melanie C continued promotion of her album "Beautiful Intentions" and "First Day Of My Life" with appearances in Sweden [Bingo Lotto Show], France [Hit Machine], and Portugal. She also appeared on "An Audience With Take That" and asked the boys a question. In 2007, Melanie C released her album "This Time" and promoted it's singles "I Want Candy", "The Moment You Believe", "Caroylna" and "This Time" with performances in the UK, Germany and more. 2008 - 2010 MELANIE C

2008 saw Melanie C do some promotion in Canada waith her single "Understand" being an exclusive release there. She also, while pregnant, appeared on "The Paul O'Grady Show", "Al Murray's Happy Hour" and was interviewed for "The Truth About Super Skinny Celebrities". In 2009, after a break to have her daughter Scarlet, Melanie hit the stage in Blood brothers and promoted her stint with interviews on UK TV. She also appearaed on kids show "Book-A-Boo". 2011 - 2012 - MELANIE C

In 2011, Melanie C released her single "Rock Me" in Germany. She promoted it with performances and interviews on German TV. She also released her album "The Sea" and promoted it's singles "Think About It" & "Weak" with performances on shows like This Morning, Loose Women and more. In 2012 Melanie C became a judge on ITV's "Superstar" as well as promoting her album "Stages" with performances on Daybreak, The Late Late Show, QVC and more. 2013 - 2016 - MELANIE C

In 2013, Melanie C was busy promoting "Jesus Christ Superstar" with a promo tour of Australia and various interviews in the UK. She also released her duet "Loving You" with Matt Cardle and performed in the UK [Daybreak, This Morning], Germany & Poland . In 2014 Melanie did various TV appearance in the UK - and also did a little tour of New Zealand before joining Jools Holland's band in November for a cover of "I Wish which was performed on shows such as "The One Show" and "This Morning".
