1998 - JANUARY

1998 - FEBRUARY
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From February 1998.

1998 - MARCH
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From March 1998.

In March 1998, the girls continued their World Tour with stops including Rome, Marseille, Barcelona, Madrid, Lausanne Arnham & Antwerp where they did press conferences / interviews. They also released their single "Stop" and, as they were on Tour, there was very little promotion - there was however a performance on Top Of The Pops. 1998 - APRIL
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From April 1998.

In April 1998, the Spiceworld Tour continuted with stops including Dortmund, Frankfurt & Glasgow before ending out the month in Birmingham. The girls did a press conference to announce new dates at Wembley Stadium, performed "Viva Forever" for Live & Kicking and also filmed the video for the official World Cup song "(How Does It Fe6el To Be) On Top Of The World. 1998 - MAY
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From May 1998.

The girls began May 1998 by appearing on TFI Friday. The Spiceworld Tour continued with stops including Paris [When they filmed their Hit Machine special], Stockholm, Copenhagen & Helsinki. They also prerecorded appearances on TOTP [Viva Forever & On Top Of The World] & This Morning. Then, on May 27, after Geri didn't appear with the other girls on the National Lottery, rumours began that Geri had quit. The other girls headed to Oslo to finish off the European leg of the tour. Then on May 31, it was officially announced that Geri had left the band. This was widely reported worldwide. 1998 - JUNE
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From June 1998.

In June 1998, the girls headed to Italy to perform with Pavarotti. They then headed to the USA to begin their 3 month tour there. After an interview with Andi Peters for the "Miami Spice" special, they began their tour in Miami, Florida. 1998 - JULY - AUGUST
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From July - August 1998.

In July & August 1998 the girls continued the US tour. In July the girls appeared on "The Late Show With David Letterman" & in Canada the girls did interviews with Musique Plus as well as appearing on Much Music's "Intimate & Interactive". Also in July the girls released their single "Viva Forever" and achieved their 7th #1 single. TOTP filmed at special performance in Chicago to air that week. In August, the girls performed on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" before news broke that Victoria & Melanie B were pregnant with their first babies. 1998 - SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From September - October 1998.

In September, having returned home after their US Tour, the girls attended Melanie B's wedding and then finished off the Spiceworld Tour with a specatcular performance at Wembley Stadium [Which was aired live on Sky One and then released on VHS & later, DVD] In October, Victoria & Emma attended the Disney Channel Awards together. 1998 - NOVEMBER - DECEMBER
A look at the Spice Girls Appearances From November - December 1998.

In November, Emma & Mel C attended the EMA's where the girls won 2 awards. They then began promotion of their single "Goodbye" appearing on The Pepsi Chart & Children In Need. In December, promotion of "Goodbye" continued with appearances on "The National Lottery", "The Royal Variety", "CD:UK", "Des O'Connor", "Live & Kicking" & more. Emma & Mel C did some promo in Europe & the US together while very pregnant Victoria & Mel B did an interview on TFI Friday. With Goodbye becoming their 8th #1 and 3rd Christmas #1, the girls appeared on the TOTP Christmas special.
